But yes, pretty much it’s a play on the offensive and fucked up “limp wristed fag” trope that’s so popular in pop culture to ridicule gays.

I’m just reappropriating a gay slur - but in this case, for the ladies. Reappropriating an insult aimed at men to infer power for a woman in the complete and opposite manner in which I am pulling the cultural reference. What even. It makes complete and total sense to me, but I definitely don’t want to go into 15 paragraphs on tumblr about why I’m fucking brilliant. Just call me Tourist “Derrida” Season.

As you can see - jokes are WAY MORE FUN than this explanation. But I got set off this morning by reading that someone was “unhappy” that we make Dianna more masculine, as if that’s a horrid insult. 

Nothing wrong with a feminine man or a masculine woman. Nothing. :( And gender is a social construct, it isn’t even real. Whatever.

ALSO. 

When you turn Dianna into a trash digging half raccoon lion animal with rabies, it doesn’t make her more or less masculine. It just makes her more rabied. Which I think we can all get behind.
